MY STORY

“Happiness is not something we achieve, its what we are!”

How can I be the best at what I do?
That was my primary question for most of my life.
I was a college football player that was at the bottom of the depth chart and had a goal of becoming a starter. I trained more than anyone else and dedicated myself to the craft. When I finally became the starting cornerback, the result of that intense drive was chronic fatigue, constant injuries, and a feeling of being stuck with no way out. By midseason my body was destroyed and I was in athlete purgatory on the injured reserved list.
I just wanted to be great, so why did I have to struggle so much?I reached a point of what the doctor diagnosed as “overtraining syndrome.” I was so worn out I wanted to quit the very thing I loved most.
I realized the conventional approach that so many coaches and trainers push on athletes ultimately leaves their mind, bodies, and spirits destroyed. It wasn’t until I was introduced to Paul Chek’s system by a CHEK Level 4 Practitioner during off season training that my dream of achieving sustainable peak performance was finally to be realized.
When I utilized the CHEK 4 Doctor system and implemented 6 foundation principles into my life. I returned to the field transformed. By the next season I was a top 10 defensive back in the country at the D3 level and named first team All-East Region. However, that was all secondary to the improvements in my life off the field. I finally had the mental clarity, energy, and higher purpose I was seeking all along.
The beauty of utilizing a holistic system was once my playing career came to an end I was able to manage my body in my professional life. Unfortunately, only learning to master my body was one piece of the puzzle since had not learned to master my mind or spirit.
The start of the pandemic in 2020 was a blessing in disguise. I was laid off from my job as the Assistant Director of Football Operations at Umass Amherst. This job was the first step towards what I thought my goal was of becoming an NFL GM, but this grand vision was creating the same health problems I was having when I was training as a football player. Why? Because I was not aligned with my true purpose.
While initially terrified with no idea how I would earn money or continue to pursue my passion, I finally had the space to realize the importance of aligning my values and environment with the principles of living a healthy balanced life.
So I decided to begin my heroes journey into an unknown with a career shift. In 2021 I became a certified CHEK Holistic Health Practitioner and NASM certified personal trainer. My intention was to start a business and live a lifestyle that fully aligned my passion and purpose. While their were so many unknowns with this shift in career, I knew intuitively if I continue to follow this calling, it would lead to greater opportunities and more importantly greater health and well being.

Going from working in Division 1 football with games on ESPN each weekend to a local sports performance gym and YMCA was a humbling experience. I was now guiding everyday people using a unique approach that many mainstream doctors and trainers would consider unnecessary, too technical, or woo-woo.
This was because I didn’t just assess the clients bodies, I was trained through the CHEK system to assess their minds, emotions, and spirits. I found these to be the real root causes of many people’s problems despite physical pain and symptoms being the only thing we treat.
The mainstream advice and science tells us to buy more pills, take more drugs, and not question anything that comes out of doctors mouth or scientific study. If it can’t be weighed or measured, it must not exist.
It’s like this in every industry and every system in the modern world.
Despite the resistance, I continued to persevered because of the positive results I was seeing within myself and the clients I was working with. I built trust with my clients  because they could feel the changes and were experiencing a better quality of life.
My clients found it amazing that such simple changes could make such a huge difference in how they felt and performed their daily activities.
Every hero faces an ordeal on their journey. My ordeal was watching my father health crisis. He spent years with serious health challenges because of his own extreme lifestyle. Chron’s disease, strokes, heart attacks, you name it he was diagnosed with it and had a pill to “fix” it. This inspired me to learn everything I could about health and was a catalyst in my understanding of our modern medical system.
My darkest moment came when he suddenly passed away from a heart attack. I felt like I had failed my mission because I had all this knowledge of human health but was not even able to help the person I cared about the most.
During my immense grief and a brief pause in working with clients, I became a carpenter’s apprentice. I learned a lot about building houses, but more importantly I learned more about what it means to have integrity, the importance of having a foundation, and what it means to be responsible for people’s well being. If it wasn’t for the 6 foundation principles and 4 doctors approach I teach with clients, I would’ve ended up like many others construction workers with chronic pain. It gave me a unique perspective of understanding how to build a body and was a true test of my philosophy and approach.
The experience of taking time away from coaching was instrumental in waking me up to the reality that teaching and guiding others is both my purpose and my passion.
I realized the years of intense study and practice had led to becoming a living embodiment of what I teach and a magnet for those seeking those very tools and insights.
Hundreds of people have now had their lives transformed because I chose to take the heroes journey and trust that the initial calling to align my life with my values would ultimately serve a greater purpose for the greater good of all.
My commitment to balanced excellence and holistic coaching system has attracted professional athletes, artists, business executives, managers, teachers, and other high performing individuals to my practice. My journey has shaped me into a holistic superstar that can authentically teach others how to master their mind, bodies, and spirits so they can live the life of their dreams.
